Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.

Inception of International Prisons

My wife  Sandee  and I were invited to speak and lead a missions conference in Anchorage, Alaska in April 2006. When we finished the week the senior pastor and his elders asked us if they could take us into their prayer room to pray for us.  We obliged with hearts filled with the joy of the days events but little did we know what was about to happen. The elders of the Abbott Loop Christian Church anointed us and then prayed these words over us and into us, “The LORD is going to take your missions organization globally.” In August, Sandee and I were called to speak at Windsor Park Baptist Church in Auckland, New Zealand. In January of 2007 we were asked to prayerfully consider going to the Dominican Republic. In Tijuana, Mexico on December 13, the Association of Prison Churches asked MOTE and Chappy to be their “Maestro de Ceremonia” and to bring the message – a “Gringo”-  to deliver the Christmas message to over 1500 hundred men. In these countries the Spirit of God is moving in and through us. The reports by the MOTE teams, the testimonial of the D. R. Senator who forgave the man who assassinated her brother (July 2007 Newsflash), and the report of December 19, 2007 from the Dominican Republic church leadership and its numerous evangelical denominations confirms the prophetic words spoken by the Abbott Loop Elders in 2006! I thank the LORD for these leaders who were listening through their effective prayer attentively – vigilantly – carefully and watchfully (Colossians 4:2).  As the Apostle Paul wrote these inspired words,

“Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership”
